Nora O’Callaghan graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center where she was elected to the Order of the Coif in 1996. Following graduation, Nora clerked for Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. After completing her clerkship, she was an associate at Latham & Watkins working on a wide range of litigation matters. She thereafter left private practice to become an academic. As a law professor, Nora has published numerous law review articles and, prior to joining GGU, she was most recently on the faculty at Loyola University Chicago Law School from 2011-2016. Nora has worked extensively with Misericordia Homes, a Chicago non-profit caring for the developmentally disabled.
