Andrew Tonelli is a litigator with broad experience in complex commercial litigation, from inception to appeal, in state and federal courts. His practice has included controversies involving contract disputes, fraudulent transfers, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and business torts.
Before joining GGU, Andrew was a litigation associate at Freeborn & Peters LLP and worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Illinois Attorney General’s Public Interest Division. After graduating from law school, Andrew clerked for the Honorable Maria Valdez in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and for the Honorable Peter J. Maassen in the Alaska Supreme Court.
Andrew received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2014, where he was Managing Editor for the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform. He received his undergraduate degree, with high honors in History, from Wesleyan University in 2006.
